[NAPLES, Fla.] – [December 2, 2024] – Deanna Deppen, a non-profit veteran with more than 30 years of experience, has joined C2 Communications as a Development and Grant Manager. In this role, Deppen is focusing her efforts on creating a sustainable donor development and grant program for C2 Communications’ national clients. With her experience in development, she is versed in researching national, state, local, and private foundations to diversify funding for clients.
Deppen holds a B.S. from Indiana University, an M.S. from Kansas State University. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Deppen has focused much of her career on non-profit leadership, grant writing, donor development and strategic planning. Prior to joining C2, she co-founded a non-profit animal sanctuary in 2001, developing community partners as well as establishing educational and therapeutic programs. Deppen served as Executive Director, overseeing all aspects of the sanctuary’s operations and fundraising. Throughout her career, Deppen has held a variety of roles in training, health and safety in both law enforcement and healthcare industries, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by mission-driven organizations.
